Basketball information
The ball sport and team sport basketball usually takes place in the hall, where two teams score ball throws in the opponent's basket. The basketball team consists of five field players and seven substitute players. In Germany, the national associations of basketball clubs belong to the German Basketball Federation (DBB). The World Basketball Federation (FIBA) was founded in 1932.
In Germany, DBB Cup, Bundesliga and German Championships are well-known national basketball tournaments.
