Special school information
Support schools and special schools (special schools) are especially designed for children and young people with learning disabilities. Most support schools specialise in disability, so there are schools for mentally handicapped, physically handicapped, deaf, hearing impaired, disabled, language-handicapped, blind or deaf-blind.
In the past, support schools and special schools were also called secondary schools or school-poor.
