Labor court information
The Labor Court arbitrates as first instance disputes between employees and employers or collective bargaining parties. In a chamber of the Labor Court a professional judge and two honorary judges are sitting. Basis is the German labor law with Labor Court Act.
A distinction must be made between individual employment law and collective labor law. Highest instance in the labor jurisdiction is the Federal Labor Court as one of the five highest courts in Germany.
Labor court services
Before the labor tribunal, disputes between employees, employers, clients, coalitions and representatives of employees and employers (e. g. workers' association), collective bargaining parties etc. are settled according to labor law and labor law. A distinction is made between individual employment law and collective labor law. Disputes because of Tariffs, working conditions, wages, working hours, work environment, discrimination, dismissals, employment contracts are clarified at the Labor Court.
