The gynecologist deals with women's medicine. The main task of the gynecologist is the prevention and treatment of diseases of the female sexual and reproductive tract. Obstetrics is also an important task for most women doctors. The normal and pathological pregnancy is monitored.
Many gynecologists also specialise in women's medicine, e.g. on prenatal medicine, mammography or similar. The regular visit to the gynecologist for checkups is definitely recommended.

Gynecologists are responsible for women's medicine, they take care of the prevention and treatment of the female sexual and training wing.
