Events club information
Carnival means foolish time or fifth season, but also Carnival and Carnival. Thus, the carnival is closely linked to customs. Typical regions of the carnival are in Germany Swabia and the Rhineland. These are also called "carnival strongholds". Mainz and Cologne are especially well known for their parades on Rosenmontag. The carnival is followed by Lent. That begins on Ash Wednesday.
Internationally, in addition to the carnival in Germany, also those in Rio de Janeiro and Venice are very well known.
Events club services
Carnival usually includes sweets and disguises. Popular carnival costumes or carnival masquerades are: firefighters, Indians, animals such as cow or pig, cowboy, stars like Madonna or Marylin Monroe, medical professions or special personalities.
Carnivals from the cities of Cologne, Mainz, Venice, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Cruz, Namibia and New Orleans are internationally famous.
