Typical services of the funeral director include: transfer of the deceased person from the place of death, hygienic care of the dead, cosmetic treatment and clothing, embedding, organization of burial with funeral service and burial, earth burial, coffin counseling, cremation in the crematorium and burial in an urn. Special burial types (eg sea funeral) are possible depending on cemetery order and funeral law.
