Foreigners authority in München

The Foreigners Authority or Immigration Office is also known as the Office for Foreigner Affairs and the Foreigners Authority. The task is the execution of the immigration law. Responsibility and duties in the field of immigration law are governed by the residence laws of the federal states and the EU's Free Movement Act.

Services of the Foreigners Authority are e. g. right of asylum, asylum procedures, deportations and tasks under the “Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz”, au pair residence, residence permits, residence permit, toleration, naturalization procedure, certificate of freedom of movement, electronic residence permit, integration course, retraction, invitation, extension of residence permit and advice on asylum, residency and naturalization issues per EU Freedom of Movement Act, Residence Act and Immigration Act.
