Special Federal Institutions are u. a. the German Weather Service, the Paul Ehrlich Institute and the German National Library.
The federal bureaus include General Customs Directorate, Federal Railway Authority, Federal Aviation Office, Federal Central Tax Office and the Federal Center for Health Education.
