Events club information
Carnival means foolish time or fifth season, but also Carnival and Carnival. Thus, the carnival is closely linked to customs. Typical regions of the carnival are in Germany Swabia and the Rhineland. These are also called "carnival strongholds". Mainz and Cologne are especially well known for their parades on Rosenmontag. The carnival is followed by Lent. That begins on Ash Wednesday.
Internationally, in addition to the carnival in Germany, also those in Rio de Janeiro and Venice are very well known.
