Employment exchange in Brandenburg

The offices of the Federal Employment Agency provide social benefits at the labor market. Employment offices and job centers are subordinate to the regional directorates of the Federal Employment Agency. Assigned are also eg management academy and the headquarters abroad and specialized agencies and family funds.

Job placement, financial compensation and job promotion are tasks of the employment office. These are defined in SGB III.

The Job Center and Employment exchange (employment agency) mainly deals with job placement, apprenticeship placement, job counseling, unemployment benefits, financial assistance and the placement of mini-jobs.

Information on job prospects, retraining, financial support, social welfare, Hartz IV etc can be obtained in the job center and the employment agency. Statistical tasks are performed by the labor authorities.
