Dart is a precision sport activity. One throws arrows (darts) on a round dartboard. Dartclubs in the Steeldart are organized in twelve land associations in the German Dart association (DDV). With the Dart as a competition sport Dartplayers line up, e.g., in national league, German masters and German Open. One makes a distinction in general between Steeldart and Softdart.

Known play variations are 301, 501, blind killer and Tactics. With 301 and 501 the player has the job to diminish as quickly as possible the called score.
